About
Thank you for visiting! We are a family owned and operated business that is passionate about gardening. If you are starting a vegetable or herb garden, we are here for advice and education. Our plants are grown organically and we do not spray any of our edibles. We let the beneficial bugs do the work and have created a native habitat to attract all the insects needed for a healthy environment.

If you are planning your landscape and need some advice, we would be pleased to offer recommendations and guide you through topics to consider when deciding on the right plant for the right place.
Sunny day and looking for something to do? Come out to Stoney and just walk around in our natural environment. Relax by the waterfall pond, stroll through the flower farm, or make your way to the lavender field. Relax, enjoy, and reset. See you soon.

Our Story

Growing up in the Midwest, gardening was at the heart of summer's activities. We cherish memories of picking tomatoes and beans in the evening and sitting on the porch with homemade ice cream afterwards. While lives are busier today, porch evenings are cherished even more.
As experienced gardeners, we understand that gardening projects can be large or small. Planting a selection of vegetables, herbs, and flowers does not have to be in a large space. We recognize that container gardening is an important part of making gardens easier and accessible. Regardless of the size of your project, the rewards are many and memorable. We want to help you build those memories for yourself and your family. This is why our family started Stoney Creek Garden Center.
The products we choose each year are focused on helping our native environment and pollinators. Our primary selection focuses on colorful perennials and natives to attract and feed beneficial insects. With this as our focus, we have chosen to not carry a selection of larger tree specimens at this time.
Stoney Creek offers a unique and relaxing shopping experience. Explore our grounds, visit the fountains, and sit a while to enjoy nature and discuss your garden plans with us. We are here to help.
