Service Description

Sunday, March 8th; 2:30-4:00 (90 Minutes) Permaculture designer and local homesteader, Lauren Craig, designs sustainable, organic gardens and homesteads for clients worldwide. In this class, she’ll share how to care for your yard and existing gardens (annual + perennial) in a manner that mimics mother nature, while working to create low-maintenance, low-irrigation spaces that boost curb appeal all the while. Lauren will outline how to use companion planting principles to passively and regeneratively care for your outdoor spaces without off-site resources, as well as how to naturally cope with and deter pests and diseases too! About Your Instructor: Lauren is a local homesteader and permaculture designer who spends her days designing gardens, landscapes and homesteads for clients worldwide. She specializes in incorporating edible, medicinal and native plants in her designs and is passionate about empowering others to grow more of their own food. She resides on her 1-acre homestead with her 2 children, and their goal is to generate 80% of the resources needed to sustain their existence within 10 years' time.
